I have a "live.co.uk" E Mail address which works fine in the UK. When we go on holiday to Spain it won't send or receive E Mails on this account to/from my Samsung notebook I keep getting messages password incorrect. When I enter my password Samsung Notebook will not accept it When I return to the UK again it works normally. Is this a common problem with "Live" E mail accounts. Funnily enough my second E Mail address with Virgin E Mail it works OK all the time.

My first thoughts are that the ISP that you use in Spain doesn't like / blocks the port and/or authentication method that you are using0

I have a Samsung Galaxy Tablet 3 which I take with me when I go on holiday outside the UK.I also have a Microsoft Live e Mail address. When I try to use it outside the UK it does not work and will not accept my password. However when I return to the UK and log on to this E Mail account it works fine. however waiting for me is an E Mail message saying account was blocked which is roughly along the lines entry requested from unknown source. Therefore I wonder if I need to go in to settings and change something. Maybe there is a technical expert reading this forum who can me an explanation or instructions so I can use this E Mail when I goon holiday to Europe in the spring0

I have recently experienced problems accessing both my email Gmail and Yahoo accounts while away from home and when back home everything works just fine again.
They inform you that someone has used your password to gain access to your account and this attempt was blocked giving the date, time and location.
Last week this happened to me in a very rural mobile not spot, so I was unable to receive the verification code sent to my mobile, even though the hotel WiFi was great.
It seems that Google, Microsoft, Yahoo and others have got together to set a new security standard for email see here
gmail state that the following do not support the latest security standards:
The mail App on your Windows phone preceding the 8.1 release.
The mail App on your iPhone or iPad using version 6 or below.
Various desktop mail clients like Microsoft Outlook and Mozilla Thunderbird etc.0
