card/loan eligibility calculators

I've tried the card and loan eligibility calcs on this page, and now have an alert from equifax with a whole bunch of searches from capital one and barclaycard on my credit file.
Of course, these may only be visible to me, BUT there appears to be NO WAY to distinguish them from an ordinary search - Equifax aren't nbeing very helpful at answering a direct question, and refer me only to their FAQ pages.
Anybody else on here had this same experience??

If you just used the eligibility calculator on here they will only be soft seaches.
I was subscribed to Equifax until recently but can't remember exactly how the searches are displayed but I certainly never had any issue distinguishing a hard search from a soft search.0 -
I was sure I could tell the difference before, or there was a line of text that said this, but I cannot tell from these at all... The strange thing is, I don't recall Capital One being a card on offer, unless of course, they operate some of the other cards that were on offer, under a different brand - EG: AA etc...0

A soft search is needed to know whether that card is to be offered up or not.0
