Hi any ideas how to claim or check if claimed.
I have 2 x books from my mums estate paid up premiums since 1937 collected weekly and written in the little books. I can't find direct number or where to send? I rang Royal liver insurance when she died 10 years ago and they said they don't have records so left it now I am thinking maybe this is the missing money we expected years ago. I also have a Brittanic Assurance Company book too.
Any help advice please welcome.

That takes me back a bit. My late parents each had a payment book for death insurance taken out on much the the same date which cost them a few pennies per week and the benefit was £100 each. Such is inflation.
For Royal Liver Assurance you contact Royal London.

Have a look in the payment book: In many cases the book is the policy and includes details of the premiums and the benefit. Could be that the premiums lapsed and therefore the policy lapsed or the policy was otherwise cancelled and the supporting documentation has been lost. However the assurance company should still have held details of the policy. I'd say push them by suggesting that you are considering the Financial Ombudsman.0
