Do 'partially settled' accounts improve credit file?

Just curious but i was able to partially settle a few accounts following agreed full and final settlements recently.
These obviously will be noted as such on my credit file but does that make any real positive difference to my file?
Or will that even have a more negative impact?
Thanks

Better than not settled.0

It does at least draw a line under the matter, although lenders will be concerned it wasn't repaid in full, they will be pleased it does not form part of your ongoing debts0

Are they defaulted?
If so, then that default will by a HUGE margin be the overriding factor, and partially settled vs fully settled or not will be an irrelevance for most lenders.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB
