Mistyped Registration Appeal Rejected

Hi,

my 70 year old Mum mistyped 2 letters of her registration so they were the wrong way around. She received a fine but we have the receipt & appealed. The appeal was rejected by the parking company. If we pay bay a certain date we get a discount. Should we appeal to POPLA?

cheers

yoiu have not said who the PPC is

but yes if you (or she) has a popla code , draft a popla appeal based on legal arguments (not what you say was the problem) , and NO , do not pay the early bird bribe

clearly their machine accepted the contract by accepting the money, so she varied the contract and they accepted (its a new argument in these cases of payment made)

one could say that their machines should not accept the VRM typed in unless it matches what the anpr cameras captured , in which case is their error

but your legal arguments will be based on what post #3 of the NEWBIES sticky thread says , with the templates etc , please read it and start your popla draft

Good, a cinch to beat at POPLA by using the templates in post #3 of the NEWBIES thread. Would have been even easier if the keeper had appealed, NOT saying who was driving but it sounds like those toes have been shot off in the first appeal.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Whos car park was this, the car park owner is also worth getting in touch with
    From the Plain Language Commission:

"The BPA has surely become one of the most socially dangerous organisations in the UK"
  • We think the car park is owned by the supermarket we do our shopping in, I emailed the supermarket there now to see if they can help

If the supermarket has a Facebook page, write some very bad stuff on it.
You never know how far you can go until you go too far.
  • I contacted the Supermarket, they don't own the ground the car park is on unfortunately

Doesn't matter, your Mum hasn't got a fine. Draft a POPLA appeal based on the templates in the NEWBIES thread; show us first.
