Help! Advice needed re Premierpark

Today I paid for up to 6 hours parking at St. George's centre in Gravesend which has recently been taken over by Premier Parking. Having to advance pay I decided that 6 hours should easily be enough to travel by train to London attend a short job interview and get back in time!
Well due largely to Storm Doris today things didn't exactly work out that way, there was a 15mph speed limit on the trains, a tree across the track and delays on the return also which resulted me not getting back to the car park until 19.07 (ticket expired 18.54)
Additionally my phone battery died so I couldn't extend ticket once I knew I was late and when I got home there was no option to speak to anyone.
My question is what do I do now? Do I just wait for a ticket and appeal? Will I have grounds to appeal? It does seem unfair that the penalty is £100 for exceeding the terms. Helpful advice anyone?

the NEWBIES thread details what needs to be done

if there was a windscreen ticket, you wait for a specified time then appeal as keeper , using the correct template

if there was no windscreen ticket, wait for the NTK in the post and then follow the NEWBIES sticky thread

there is no "penalty" , nor a "fine" for that matter

if you are invoiced , its a pcn invoice for "rule breaking"

there may be legal grounds to appeal, but I doubt the weather is one of them , even if it should be due to storm "doris"
