as the title says really.
its cordless and have never noticed it before, till I started playing a PC game.
all is well, then suddenly the pointer only travels a quarter of the distance it should as I roll the mouse. I have to remove battery and put it back in for it to work again. sometimes it goes an hour, sometimes 3 times in 5 mins.
when it happens if I go back to desktop the problem persists until battery removal but I haven't noticed the problem actually starting while on desktop.
I don't think it happens normally, only when gaming (the game is the only game I have on PC).
advice?

for what its worth.
I have used my setup for several hours for normal use and the issue does not occur. its only when using the mouse in-game.
i'll fish a wired mouse out and see if the same happens.0 -
I would say the game is turning off Windows mouse acceleration, it's probably a known issue or at least something that's been discussed before on other forums.
Mouse acceleration is when the mouse moves further the faster you move it, this is great for navigating Windows, but terrible when trying to play games (particularly FPS).
Removing the battery doesn't make sense in that case though, does the mouse have a feature that allows you to change speed on the fly? My gaming mouse is set up for 5 different speed settings.“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”
