Claiming back PPI

Hi all. Just looking for some advice.
I was about to decide which company to use to put a claim in for PPI as i have had letters from the claims guys and claim4you.
The reason i was going to use a company is because i do not have any bank account numbers or loan agreement numbers etc.
And also how far back can i claim?
Any advice will be gratefully received

You can contact your former lenders yourself, why do you want a company to do it for you?
There is no formal deadline of how far back you can complain, but obviously older accounts are less likely to be on record.0 -

If you believe you were mis-sold ppi, and wish to complain, why not phone the bank or finance company involved and ask if they can help.0
