How's this for money saving...

My boss recently went away playing golf in some other country. Booked a hire car over there, but refused to pay the extra 40quid to upgrade to an estate car and took his own roof rack dismantled in his golf bag!!
Is that money saving or just being bl00dy tight...?! :rolleyes:
