Parking ticket with typo in registration plate

Where do I stand...
I got a parking ticket, long back story to change in rules and permits at work, work want to appeal the ticket... I would normally...
But ticket had a typo, registration plate on ticket is not that of my car.
Photo linked to ticket does however show my car (with its correct registration)
As ticket is not issued to correct Reg plate I'm wondering if it's best ignored completely?

in theory yes , in practice they will use the photo to get your details , who was the parking co, and was the ticket on the car0

Thanks for the responses. Today was day14 so I wanted to decide whether or not to appeal before the charge increased. It turns out Work appealed all the tickets on another ground and all were cancelled today so I don't have to decide whether to acknowledge it.0
