Guys, just a quick warning if you receive an email from the HMRC saying that you are eligible to unexpectedly receive hundreds of pounds due to overpaid tax and all you need to do is click on a link and give them all your personal details then it is definitely a scam.

That is all this thread needs, lets all move on......

I owe them £30k apparently - I wish I earned enough to accrue a tax debt of that size :rotfl:

Oh dear I think it is you that has missed the irony, did you not notice the smiley, the wink and the grin in my post.

If after all these years on the these forums you cannot see when someone is agreeing with you and joking I will leave you to get on with your interpretation of forum posts, sad really but have a good day.
