Howdens Kitchens - complaint address

I've been trying to get my local branch to rectify a fault in my newly installed kitchen for 8 months. I've threatened them that I will complain to their head office and now I'm going to do it. I want to include some supporting papers so I shall need to write them a letter.
Does anyone have a name or title of a senior person I can address it to please?

Comments

  • Sure someone will be along to help, I can't use them anyway because their website says there is no branch within 1000miles.
I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.
  • OP, is this address the one you're looking for?

did you buy the kitchen yourself ? , or through a joiner/builder ?
  • 1) I have the address thank you, I just want a name or a job title so that my letter doesn't get lost in their registry.
    2) Howdens have a funny system of approved fitters who work self employed. The important point is that Howdens accepted liability for replacing a defective worktop as per their guarantee 7 months ago. They just won't do anything.
  • OK, but who did you buy the kitchen from?
  • My credit card statement shows I paid Howdens. But under Howdens system I was technically settling the kitchen fitters account with Howdens as Howdens do not sell to the public! They are Trade Only.
As I say they are not querying their liability they just won't give my fitter the new parts.

They played silly beggars with me and a faulty kitchen, it didn't get resolved before i moved house, the veneer was splitting on the unit doors

Wouldn't use them again, i actually used Magnet trade this time and they swapped a faulty part instantly without fuss no quibble
