Hi all , Will keep this short and sweet.

Anovo (repair centre) had sent my phone back to myself unrepaired as it was deemed "out of warranty" it started off with a faulty USB port. I asked for my phone back as they had it for 5 weeks I have had nothing but problems with them and i never want to deal with them again.

I have contested the out of warrenty with samsung which is currently on-going. However

When i received my phone back S7 Edge, It had a cracked screen and all the glue was hanging out. I contacted Anovo (samsung repair centre) who raised a damaged in transit case. 4 weeks later, DPD finished their invetsigation and offered to pay anovo £100 which they received today. (took 9 weeks in total)

Anovo have said that I can have the £100 or get them to repair the front screen only

Due to my past experience i had with Anovo as it is the last thing i want to do is ship my phone back out to them consideirng last time they had my phone for 5 weeks and their reviews. I would much rather get it repaired myself (sameday) however the repair myself is £200+

However Anovo (sender) are saying they cannot give pay me more than £100 for me to repair it myself because this is all DPD have paid them.

As far as am concerned it is not DPD responability for them to pay for repair on my device and if the £100 does not cover it than surely the sender Anovo should contribute for me to get my device repaired myself?

Is this correct ? does anybody know how to take this further or what to do?

Thanks
Craig

Anovo have offered to repair your phone.
I believe that is all they have to do.

Anovo have told you they will repair the screen, you can't ask for more than that.
  • Would that still be the case considering my poor experience with them in the past ? With them having my phone for an out of resonable amount of time last time 5 weeks?
