Car Warranty Schemes

Hi

Picking up a car from Car Giant tomorrow and I refused their own car warranty through AA as I want to arrange myself.

I've had a quick look but I can't seem to find anything on the site around recommendations on this?

Is there anything out there people can recommend to me?
Car is just over 3 years old and has 50k miles on the clock and the manufacturers warranty has lapsed.

thank you

I think the general opinion is to put an amount away per month to build up a fund in case anything goes wrong. Most warranty companies will try anything and everything they can to not pay out a claim so you're best building up your own money to give you the security something will be fixed should it go wrong.

The bonus of doing it this way is if nothing goes wrong you've got a nice little pot of cash available to spend elsewhere.
