    It isn't written into the will.

    Mum collected her Uncle, parked outside, took him in & insisted that they gave it to her. He's filled in all the paperwork needed to renounce executorship for probate purposes (but that wouldn't do for the solicitors).

    No point making a formal complaint as my husband made one last November (regarding the handling of a different will) & is still waiting for the response he was promised (it did get them to release the money though).

    Think it goes without saying that no-one we know will be using this particular firm again.
    Smile and be happy, things can usually get worse!

    I thought - More like lucky customer .....
