    At risk of sounding really really stupid and being forever tortured by the pink hating mouse person.....do you use the beaten egg before it goes into or after it comes out of the oven? :o

    It's hard typing when you can't see for tears...........:cry::cry::cry: It's so sad when people are 'orrible just 'cos you're the cutest hen ever, and Churchmice make the loveliest rolls.........

    I'd hazard a guess that it's applied before baking:D :D:D

    I use egg wash too , but if I brushed it on AFTER , then the rolls would taste of sticky raw egg:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

    pfff ... nothing special, doesnt even look like a crocodile ,,, head back to normal size yet frogga!!? ..lol .... nah ,,, its amazing, ive never seen anything like that before. Something like that would be great as a "wedding centre piece" :j

    I know, I know! I'm new to all this hand baking bread stuff! I just thought it might sort of cook or something on the hot bread. :confused::o

    At least the big headed, pink hating, mousey one will no longer be crying proper tears and will now be crying tears of laughter at me asking such a stupid question. :o:D:p
