AVG has picked up this virus during its present scan.
It seems to have hidden itself in one of the games on the computer.
Anyone heard of it and what it does?
Not much info when I googled it.
(scanning still in progress)

Seems it's a false positive picked up by AVG (seems to affect Vista users mainly), and AVG are releasing a patch for it.0

There seems to be various versions with various extensions, some say it's a Trojan, but haven't any experience of it...
I think bingo bango may be right, although I can't find any direct comment from AVG at the moment...
Search the forums at: http://forum.grisoft.cz for information, Obfustat appears plenty of times, but none with the .pwp extension.0 -
I haven't got vista, just XP.
What do they mean false positive?£2 Coins Savings Club 2012 is £4.............................NCFC member No: 00005.........

It means it may not be a virus but a false alert
Which file did it pick it up in?0 -
Googling on just obfustat it doe show up a lot of results. It seems to be a false positive and is commonly found in games. Have you instaleld a No-CD patch as that seems to be a common cause of this alert?

If I feel the need to hide
And it's my problem if I have no friends

You could double checking by uploading the file to the following site - https://www.virustotal.com/
This site will scan the file with 32 different anti virus scans - oh it's free0 -
If AVG move the infected file (so called infected file) will we still be able to play the game?
Also what is "the patch" they mention?£2 Coins Savings Club 2012 is £4.............................NCFC member No: 00005.........
