Reasons to be cheerful Part 3

Options
I'm back - at long last! Got an email telling me it was my ten year MSE birthday so thought I should attempt to be more MSE.

So where was I... Sold flat and bought house or should I say money pit with OH which has required quite a lot of work and needs yet more.

Current aim is to work out where we are with the mortgage and to OP a wee bit while doing it up, living a bit and staying sane. Ideally we would like to retire early so need to get rid of mortgage a few years before age 66 or whenever it's due to finish.

DS is still at home and there are a couple of additional furry family members who keep us on our toes. Must get back to being more careful and mindful with my spending.:o
Mortgage OP 2025 £6000/7000
Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

Mortgage balance: £36,680
2029 Holiday fund £356/7000
