Bank statement query

I don't know if this is the right place to ask so sorry if it isn't. I was looking at a bank statement for the beggining of January this year. It says I bought petrol at asda petrol station Leeds. I live 4 hours away from Leeds. It was on the 3rd of January so makes me think New Year sometime. It has never showed up on a statement before as being in Leeds is normally my location. Is anyone aware why it would say that? Any help?

Did you buy fuel at an Asda (anywhere) around that date?0

Yes I would think so. But never had it come up at a different location which has thrown me a bit.0

Asda's head office is in Leeds. They may well process all of their transactions at petrol stations centrally.urs sinserly,

This is why I request and keep all transaction receipts until I can match them to a bank statement. You are entitled by law to request and be given a receipt for any such transaction.I think this job really needs
a much bigger hammer.
