    I can see your reasoning and given what you say, what point is there in going for a MR and then an appeal for those like me that have had their DLA closed down because of the 0 points PIP decision if even they win, the award will not be backdated? Isn't it best for those that are transferred to put in a new claim instead of appeal, at least that way the award would go from the date the new claim is received?

    It would be backdated, but to the date of the PIP decision, or to the last DLA payment.
    Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.
