Only send the initial defence to CCBC, they then provide that to the Claimant. Yes, state the correct address and also email Gladstones to give that to them and insist they update their records and those of their clients.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I sent my defence within the deadline by recorded delivery.
Yesterday, I received a county court judgement stating that they had not received my defence and that I had to pay within 30 days to have my CCJ removed. I find it ludicrous and very hard to believe that Northampton haven't received this. I called them up and they were predictably unhelpful. Unfortunately, through sheer bad luck and carelessness, I have misplaced my Post Office receipt and barcode which means I cannot track down my delivery. I went back to the Post Office and they said they did not keep records of deliveries and I phoned customer services and they said the same. I'm not sure what to do. I spent most of yesterday in a seething rage, but now I have to make a decision as to what to do. I lot of hard work and stress was put into putting my initial defence together. Any advice is welcome.0 -
Oh dear, spend the weekend searching for that vital receipt and then on Monday phone the court again and ask them to confirm when the defence arrived (because you know it will have...). Keep the pressure on the court.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
