Ending a joint periodic tenancy agreement

    I think OP renewed the 12 month fixed term once, but when the 2nd fixed term ended, went periodic.

    Hi,

    Can anyone help me with some advice needed? I have recently moved into my mums because me and the wife are going through a rough patch. We are (JOINT) private tenants on a periodic tenancy agreement. The landlord has recently contacted my wife with a new tenancy agreement. The agreement is the same as the last one but my name is not on it. It seems as though he has assigned the agreement to my wife but without my permission or knowledge. Is this legal?
