NPower has pulled its Online Fix March 2018

From nPower website:"Our Online Price Fix March 2018 tariff is no longer available."

The similarly named tariff "Fixed Energy Online March 2018" is markedly more expensive.

The media warned that some providers, including Npower, were about to raise prices, with others sure to follow suit.

My goodness, I've just used their online prices to compare my present fix with the new one (though mine doesn't end until 30th April) and the increase is £230 a year, almost £4.50 a week (about 25%) ! (Awful , for those on a low income but too 'well off' for benefits.)

Two weeks ago, of the ones I'd heard of they came second to Scottish Power, which was a tiny bit cheaper, but now they are pages down and the switching site is using the old March 2018 tariff.

I haven't moved for ages , as the saving of a few pounds wasn't worth the hassle, but this really has put the cat among the pigeons.
