40 yr old petrol tank on a old motorcycle , dents sorted , hi build primer , normal prime , paint and laquer
all of those have been in CANS mixed by car paint factors , after paint and rubbed down with p2000 and soap , after laquer , same again , final coat of laquer on , almost smooth to touch and buffing with a clean cloth by hand is making if smoother
I have NOT got access to buffing equipment , without spending (another)arm and a leg , suggestions on a polishing liquid (small quantity) that can be used by HAND
will basic T cut have any affect ,
shes a 40 yr old kawasaki ke125 , although not being used as a show bike , I would like her to look good

I really wouldn't recommend actual T-Cut these days, there are so many more options available for hand use. Do you have any "detailers" in your area that might be able to supply you with a small quantity of something appropriate? Someone like that would have more knowledge of what's around than a generic Halfords-like shop that has a wider range than they did years ago, but still limited.
Or have a look on somewhere like detailingworld.co.uk for some ideas.0 -
ok spent a few more hrs , laquer , and rubbing ended up with p3000 and soapy water , then more laquer , when dry , I was able to polish it just with a cloth till and airborne bits were removed , went to wilkinsons and got some liquid polish and spent the afternoon applying and buffing by hand , she looks good! the colour I chose was a cross between a colour that might have been on the bike and a colour that assisted my bodyshop prowess , ral 3020
hard to match on a PC screen , but more of a pastel colour ,
best quote for repairs and spraying was £235 , job done for about £35-40 ,
now I can go and fall off it and dent it!0
