Hi Guys,
Does HSBCs internal system allow for pre-approval of products at all ?
I'm specifically thinking about credit cards but could take a more generic answer as to how it might work.

I'm not a HSBC customer but they offer a soft search facility on their website for credit cards:

Unless you've opted out I'd imagine any pre-approved offers may appear on the Internet Banking services?It's not your credit score that counts, it's your credit history. Any replies are my own personal opinion and not a representation of my employer.0 -

I have been an HSBC/FD customer for 18 years now. Since I have HSBC Gold card and flexiloan. No credit check applied. I havent been to HSBC branch for a very long time but they to use to have a behavior score. If I remember correctly that was displayed under all accounts screen.
Depending how good your behavior score is you might get accepted for a credit card.0 -
