    What about french toast ??
Or if you dont have any bread... a slice of bread shaped omlette.
Or you could always try frying an egg in it... depending on the shape of your sandwich toaster :D

hubby and i like , cheese and onion , ham and cheese , sausage and mushroom .

i like cheese and pickle. yummy

my fil likes egg. i've never tried it. i can imagine it all runs out before cooking but apartenly it doesn't. never tried tho.

I've got a very very old breville sandwich makre recipe book. it about 100 pages thick. u can make all sorts. even pudding's and thing's. it fantastic.

i must buy a new sandwich maker. when ours broke we used our george foreman. now that broke we have to go without.

ham or gammon, a good melting cheese, a touch of wholegrain mustard-mmmmmm, Call it a pimped croque monsieur! ;)

we got rid of our sandwich toaster in favour of a pannini maker, they're brilliant! Our faves are the above or put on some thin minute steaks (cooked first) and onions (add optional cheese)!

I remember 35 years ago my brother used to put frozen fish fingers in the sandwich maker, I was happy with Cheese & Pickle. I will need to get another one as cheese melted in the microwave does not taste the same and the toast goes soggy.

Cheese and marmalade here - but watch out! It gets very hot - as does anything with jam/marmalade/pickle in!
