Sussex security parking penalty notice

I parked on double yellow lines but have a carers permit to allow me to stay for 2 hours.I was on private land although there are no signs saying PRIVATE LAND. I got a penalty notice on A4 paper with 2 photos of my registration number and NO PCN from a securIty company in east sussex saying they are working for the owner of the house I need to pay a fine or the correct rent to the owners. The fine will go to the
Dvla and a tnt corriere will collect it if not payed . HOW CAN I PAY IT WITHOUT A PCN number it doesn't seem legal this notice is it? Please advise

Was this PCN left on the car or sent through the post?

Are you sure the words penalty and fine appear on the PCN?

You have not been fined, this is a speculative invoice, however as stated above its vitally important that you state the exact company name and any company number

    You do not pay it
And you must not disclose the driver, or give any hints as to who was driving - even if you know.
please also make sure that your user name contains no hints what so ever about your identity

I'm slightly concerned about this persons user name, and i would suggest that nothing is added to this until the OP comes along and either deletes their post, or confirms that their user name is anonymous

While I recognise the name, I can't find any reference to Sussex (or their other name from their website 'Parking Enforcement') on the IPC AOS list (despite showing the AOS roundel on their website). Have they changed name/had the heave-ho.

A case of await the NtK?

no its one of a group of companies run by {Edited by forum team}, that and another part of the group left the IPC in november

I started asking questions (dates etc) however half-way suggest the OP should delete post and re reg with a new user name

this guy had problems with his names as well , sessex security , and I think one version was a Ltd one!

Also trades as Parking Enforcement and has links to One Parking, Capital 2 Coast, and Ethical Group. Owned and run by {Edited by forum team} but separate from the Ethical Group.

Left the IPC in November 2016.

Left the IPC in November 2016.
Still showing IPC AOS membership three months on.

Complaint to the IPC @OP. No contact with this outfit unless you hear anything further from them. Come back if you get any more correspondence about this.

So the reference to "Sussex security" in the thread title maybe a red herring.
  • still showing? under what name , "I see no ships!"

umm , when the sister company (who is also not a ATA member) is issuing tickets?

  • I think Johno's point is that other security services in East Sussex may be available. Until the OP confirms the exact name of the parking company, we can't be sure.
