Hi
I received a Parking Charge Notice for using a car park on the 21-05-16 from Britannia Parking LTD

I had been picked up on the ANPR camera, but i had purchased a ticket.

My wife messed up the first ticket, so i purchased another which covered us for an overnight stay in the hotel.
A few days later I received the charge notice, i filled out the appeal part and included the two number parking receipts and posted back to them. That was the last I heard until This Saturday 18-02-17 I received a letter from a company called Debt Recovery Plus LTD. telling me i now owe £160 to them. Reason Failed to make a valid payment !!!
I have had no further demands from Britannia Parking during the interim. I am unsure if i have the parking receipts now as i didn't believe I needed to keep them.

What do I do???

On further investigation it seems the car park is notorious for this type of thing

    Hi
    .

    What do I do???

You need to read the sticky NEWBIES thread at the head of the forum.

You are too late to appeal now and obviously will have difficulty proving you have paid unless you kept the ticket receipt.

You can ignore debt collectors but worry about LBCC or court papers.

It's only Britannia, nowt to worry about and they can't hold a keeper liable so DO NOT say who was driving. They don't sue people but if they ever changed that position, like I say, Britannia are not a firm who use the 'keeper liability' wording.

Do NOT contact DRPlus or Zenith (same firm) and tell your wife NOT to say who was driving, ignore them. I've ignored Britannia myself.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
