Good question , Sazzle13. I don't know, when next challenge will start yet. What's about 5th of June? Great challengers, please let me know, what you think.

    Evening!

    Another payment made : £1350.00
Amount remaining : CREDIT CARDS CLEARED!!!

It's been a funny month... My car went wrong and I ended up using up all of my Emergency Fund to put down a deposit on a new one... So technically I have 'new debt' but am trying to see it like I would a mortgage. It's an essential outgoing, and I had planned to start a car fund - so I guess I'll just use that money on my new car. Plus - for peace of mind for the next 3 years it's worth it. In some ways it's a huge deal I was able to get it - to me it shows my poor credit history is behind me. My Credit Score is now 992/999!!!

As for this challenge - I have cleared my cards and remaining debt - so I think my next challenge (and the ones for the next 3 years) might be to save smaller lump sums to clear off my car perhaps.

Anyway - Keep up the good work everyone!!! :)

I have had a bit of good news today and I will be getting an unexpected payment at the end of this month which will mean that I will indeed be able to clear the debt that I have outstanding from this challenge. I am so pleased as I have had to concentrate on other things these passed few months which have meant that I haven't been focused on repaying my debts. This has given me a new found focus and will mean that I have an additional £50 (this was the typical amount I have been paying) each month to throw at my other debts.

I have also just reduced my mobile contract and this means £30 extra a month so that will be £80 extra a month that I can use towards paying my debts.

Finally feel like I am getting somewhere.

I will definitely be returning to the next challenge with a new found enthusiasm. The 5th June sounds good to me.
