Santander 123 Select

The Santander Select service looks favourable for me because of the 0% international debit card usage fee. I'm currently a 123 Current Account customer and one of the qualifying criteria for the Select upgrade is £5,000 income into the account each month. I don't earn that but was wondering if I set up a £5,000 standing order from a non-Santander account into my 123 Current Account will this meet the qualifying criteria?

Select is a thing of mystery, even if you meet the criteria you may not get invited in, even if you don't meet the criteria you may get invited in.

I'm fairly confident that what you suggest with standing orders etc. does work, but as EssexExile says it still seems a bit random.

Bear in mind the 0% cash withdrawals is only at Santander cash machines (assuming that's what you mean) - if you were referring to 0% purchases on the 123 credit card then that's now available to all customers (see changes page on Santander website).
