Hi There,
I need some help, my husband gets paid in Euros. In South Cyprus, Greek side we live in the North, Turkish side. They will not pay into our Turkish bank. I cannot open a bank account in the South as I am not a resident. Has anyone got any reasonable ideas on how we can rectify this situation ? Without it having to go to UK to pay charges and then returned to North with more charges. ? Any advice much appreciated ............. Thank you for reading

I'm not sure this is the best place to ask this, Budgeting and Bank Accounts might be better, but would you be able to open a Euro account in the UK or elsewhere?Signature removed for peace of mind0

But surely he can't be the only person on Cyprus who lives in the Turkish side and is paid in Euros? What are the others doing?0

Since he works in the South then presumably he could open an account there (perhaps with the help of his employer).0
