Please Help No Creit Card For Hire Car

Please help I am going away in october to malaga with my family and I need to hire a car however I have been looking into it and i find that most hire car companys now need a credit card in order to hire a car. I have been to spain and hired a car out in the past and not needed a credit card but this was a few years ago.
Can anyone give me any help to the problem to get around this, I am going with six family members so a car is essential for getting arround. :mad:

I know you used to be able to leave a big deposit and it was all ok. Just give the hire company a ring and ask.0
