PPI claim for Thomas Cook credit card.....help needed

I have recently made a claim for PPI against a Thomas cook credit card I was sold in 2009, even though I haven't paid a separate fee I believe there has been a PPI payment included.
However, the card is done through Barclays. They have sent me a rejection letter today which said Barclaycard in the top right hand corner and the last 4 digits was a card I had about 18 years ago with them and not the one I'm claiming for.
Any idea in what to do next as? I did the claim use the reclaim tool on MSE newsletter
Anyone else experienced a similar problem than this?
Thanks
Martin

PPi is not included in interest, it's a separate monthly listed-on-your-statement fee.
If it was a Thomas Cook card, you complain to Thomas Cook.Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi0 -
Well when i took put a loan from barclays some years ago it was all apart of my monthly fee.
Taff, can you advise where any ppi would be listed on a credit card statement, typically a thomas cook credit card statement?0 -
If you have still got some statements, look at them and follow the list of payments in and out, if the previous balance carried forward plus interest and purchases less your payments comes to the current balance and there is no entry for anything remotely sounding like PPI then you haven't got PPI.
With regard to your Barclays loan, PPI had either been added to the loan at the start as a single premium or they collected the monthly PPI premium along with the monthly loan payment in one DD, either way the loan docs would have clearly shown the PPI.0 -

The PPI would have been shown on your loan agreement.MartinHaffner wrote: »..Taff, can you advise where any ppi would be listed on a credit card statement, typically a thomas cook credit card statement?
The PPI would have been shown on your credit card statement. If you can't see a separate line on your statement that refers to some kind of charge for insurance, then you didn't have it.0 -
Look for something that says cover, or protection or something of that nature.
Your loan was single premium, where the value of theinsurance was added to the loan, then split into monthly payments all together. But as said, it will still have been on your loan agreement.Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi0
