If you phoned and gave a different account to pay into, it's likely that the system has been update so that all payments go to that account. Call them again on Monday to check to see what has happened.
As a general answer, all payments for a specific benefit would normally be paid to the same account. Payment for different benefits could be paid to different accounts but all that really does is create confusion.

    Hi all

I am on esa in the support group and was due to receive a payment on Monday but it usually goes in on Saturdays. I had a compliance interview recently and told them that I had been getting my benefits paid into someone else's acct which they said wasn't a great idea but today I didn't receive this payment?

I also phoned them regarding a separate payment I am due to be getting from them and they recalled the payment and changed those details over to my own account.

My question is, is it likely that they changed the details of the esa payment too, because I phoned regarding a different payment? Do all benefits have to go into one account? Or is this due to my compliance interview?

    Just curiosity.

Probably the persons account you were using processed mondays BAC's payments in on a saturday. i.e. RBS, Clydesdale, Natwest etc.

Most banks don't do this and credit them early hours of Monday morning, Generally like 12:30am....

If you call DWP to change details for another payment, it's likely to have updated before the payment is released, So would probably go into your new account.

But DWP don't class weekends as working days, And don't expect payments to be paid on these days. So looks like you need to wait till monday.
