Hey all, hope someone can help!
We usually go to AT on opening weekend as its normally pretty quiet and almost no queuing.
This year we can't because it clashes with an exchange student staying.
So, I was looking at the 2nd open weekend which is 1st/2nd April.
However, this is the 1st weekend of the Easter hols for half the country.
Does anyone have any idea how busy its likely to be?
Cheers

It all depends on the weather. I went on a Saturday in May on a bank holiday weekend, thought it would be packed, but because the weather was a bit rubbish it was sooo quiet. I got straight on a few of the big rollercoasters.
I would say it'll be average busy on that weekend if the weather is also average. It will definitely be quieter than July and August, but may be busier than a weekend not in the school holidays.0 -
Thanks Sharon.
The big discount is valid 5 days or more in advance so I'll leave it till I see a 10 day forecast.0 -

I have been on a bank holiday before, it was quite busy but not that bad, i was told by a member of staff that people think it will be busy so don't go0 -
Thanks Deanos.
I've always used that site in previous years but it hasn't been updated for a while.
I had checked it before posting here but dismissed it as inaccurate because AT opens on the 25th not the 16th this year.0
