Did they actually contain much fish?
Yep, very close to if not the same amount of fish.

RIP Morrisons lovely Lemon Curd. Used to be 22p a jar. The cheapest now I think is Sainsburys at 35p...:(

Is it just me or have Tesco everyday value fishcakes disappeared? I haven't seen them in my store for a few weeks and they're not listed online anymore. It's not listed on the Asda site either. Is it another value line that's been cut?

Most of Tesco frozen everyday value products have been re-branded and are now packaged as Hearty Foods. Watch for imminent price hikes!

Some of Tesco's Everyday Value products have also been re-branded as Butcher's Choice and Mrs Molly's too.

Having said that their EDV Ready Meals were £1 before the re-brand and are still the same price (well, the ones I tend to buy anyway).

This was £1 when it was Tesco Everyday Value.

Then re branded into Tesco at £1.

Now Hearty Food co and still £1 :)

Some of the former value products are now on a second re brand and I've not seen many if any price rises.

I think I may have seen some recently. Like they have brought back some M savers jam (though it doesn't show up with a search of groceries on the website).

Yes, they have just emailed me a survey about this. They wanted to know if there was anything new about their new brands and I said no because everyone else has already done it. I guess the answer should have been...so there is a good opening for anyone now who can keep the promise.
