Payment 3 weeks of DLA no award for pip yet

When filling out the forms you can ask for a home assessment but a supporting letter from your GP is needed for this, stating the reasons why.

I phoned pip and they could see no decision on award they told me to phone back on pip number option 1. This dept couldn't see the award on the computer and said he would get somebody to look at forms today and ring me. He though at their end there was a mistake in documenting the award.

I let them know that I have not received any letters from them since sending form in in December. I have not had a face to face assessment either.

Personally i'd ring them back today. You only had 3 weeks of DLA and they say no decision has been made yet. Either someone isn't telling you the truth or the decision isn't hasn't gone from one computer to the other yet. Or they stopped you DLA because no PI forms have been recieve even though they told they have. Good luck and i hope you get this sorted.

what a surprise!!
I have had all access to me removed from the DWP computer systems - they can only now communicate via post. Saves having to wait in.
