hi all,
Used the awesome template on newbies to appeal a Britannia windscreen pcn (02/12/2016) which they cancelled back in December via email.
however they sent a 1st notice to keeper (14/02/2017) with a different pcn number but all the same pcn details (date, time, location, reasons for issuing) demanding payment.
02/12/2016 - Britannia windscreen pcn received
15/12/2016 - Appeal made (online via email)
16/12/2016 - Appeal successful (pdf via email)
14/02/2017 - 1st NtK
how do i address this funny business of completely changing pcn number?
thanks everyone

Simple
1. Send the template again
2. Ask the DVLA when Britannia got your details. If they have accessed the DVLA twice for the same event then ask the DVLA to investigate.
3. Consider a claim if #2 turns out to be an abuse of the RK database.
4. Check which country you are in (joke for some)This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

will look into DVLA! thanks!!0 -
Their web site doesn't state which membership body (IPC/BPA) they belong to. or make any reference to any appeal organisation.
When did the original offence arise and is the 2nd NtK now out of time with POFA?0 -

it does not. but I gathered from other threads they're likely part of BPA.
have updated the original post for clarity, my apologies!

That looks out of time to me. But wait for other regulars' advice too.
I wouldn't appeal with the normal appeal template here. I would simply appeal enclosing their original acceptance along with the date timescale and tell them that clearly they have made a mistake, that their NtK is outside the POFA timescale and invite them to confirm they have dropped the case.0 -

thank you didn't realise they were out of POFA timescale
will await others too0 -
Check for yourself meanwhile with POFA. I always use here http://www.britishparking.co.uk/write/Documents/AOS/AOS_Code_of_Practice_-_V4,_Feb_2014.pdf to find it. In your case, pages 31/32 with the relevant para (5) at the bottom pf page 32, left hand column.0

yes, I agree with guys dad
now if you want 100 posts agreeing with guys dad then post a poll
until you have appealed to BRIT and got a decision on cancellation or popla then its impossible to advise you further
everything you have been told so far, is good common sense , until its done and you have further information for us to digest there is nothing we can add
it could be a simple error on their part, which proof of cancellation may quash
capiche ?0 -
