For more than a century The Punch Bowl Inn at Low Row has been a well-loved watering hole where travellers can stop to rest and refresh. But this year the pub has changed, adding a coffee house for customers to enjoy teas and coffees from a team of trained baristas while chowing down on cakes baked by the in-house chefs. There’s Yorkshire parkin, made to a traditional recipe, luscious slices of Rocky Road, caramel flapjacks, chocolate brownies and crisp cookies, plus a range of panini and sandwiches. To celebrate the coffee shop’s arrival, we’ve arranged for three lucky readers to win coffee and cake for two.
