Hoist Portfolio Holding 2 Ltd

I need to contact Hoist Portfolio Holdings 2 Ltd regarding a default recorded on my daughter's partner's credit report. As this debt is registered at his former address, we have no correspondence from them so do not know which address to send it to. We are trying to contact them in order to settle the debt which has been on his account since 2011. Also, we only have a partial account number as it is mostly crossed out on the credit file - I am sure they will be able to work it out from name and dob though. Can anyone help with the address for them please? Also, has anyone had success in offering the payment in instalments rather than having to pay in one sum? Thank you

  • I found this on Resolver.co.uk with a Google search, you may want to Google their name as there's quite a lot of stuff about them online.

    All bad, no doubt.
  • Thank you. Hoping it can be arranged to pay in 3 instalments rather than one lump sum - has anyone managed to make an agreement with them for repaying in instalments?

What is the date of the default as it may well be statute barred unless there has been a payment / acceptance since. They will become unenforceable from 6years after the default was raised unless they apply for a CCJ before the 6 year mark

I agree about the default date - it sounds like it is about to drop off his file and if not being pursued, about to become unenforcebale
  • Date of default is November 2011. He is wanting to apply for a mortgage before long so do not want ccj all of a sudden.

It's not the default date that's important, it's the "cause of action date", the last time he made a payment or acknowledged the debt in writing.

What was the date of the last payment ?

Creditors can default you at any time, so the default date usually has no bearing on when an account may be statute barred.
