Key stuck in euro cylinder

Our old eurocylinder was getting trickier to use - often the key wouldn't go in. I decided to replace it with an avocet abs euro cylinder. Got matching paid for front and back doors.
Back door one works fine. Front door one was okay though a bit stiff to turn. Both installed two Days ago.
Tonight, I come home and show swmbo how to use euro cylinder. I pulled door handle up, turned lock and it seemed okay. I then tried to remove the key. It wouldn't. I've tried to turn the key to open the lock and it wont move.
Somehow, with a bit of force on the doorhandle, I managed to open the door. I've unscrewed the retaining screw and tried to wiggle the cylinder out. It won't budge. I've been able to remove the door handles, And i can wiggle the cylinder a bit up and down but not in or out. In doing all this, the key will rotate about 30* but this does nothing. Putting another key from the outside doesn't do anything - it won't turn either.
The cylinder is fitted to the porch door whereas the front door has a rim cylinder/deadlock so for the time being, I've put everything back and we can at least open and close the porch door.
Short of calling out a locksmith, what else can i do?

I'm afraid this sounds like a job for a locksmith. Did you have the cylinders fitted? If so I'd call back the person that fitted them.0

Always had problems with our euro cylinder locks. Supplied new with anglian doors.
Always found a squirt of thin oil into the barrel solves the problem. Your new locks may have been in stock for some time so may have dried out.0 -
Try contacting them. As this is a premium lock they may be interested in the fault and happy to help.

Take the key out and when you push it back in give it a little knock with the hammer is it goes in deep then turn and remove the key in the horizontal position.0
