April 2016 we purchased from Mattress Man 2 single Sealy mattresses and 2 divan bases.
Around probably October time I started to notice on one of them which my husband sleeps on, a slight dip in the centre was appearing. Also, the surface of the mattress has started to bobble, small bobbles appearing here and there.
Now the one I sleep on is perfectly alright. I decided this couldn't go on, as if it looks like this in less than a year, what will it be like in 5 years.
I got onto Mattress Man, I sent photos of the bobbling and also the dip. She told me she would get in touch with Sealy and today she has come back and said
Sealy has advised that the mattress looks like it has a normal amount of settlement and turning and rotating will help to keep this even.
The bobbling on the mattress is normal wear and tear and using a mattress protector should prevent this.
1)If it is normal wear and tear why hasn't mine done the same
2) A mattress protector has been used on both beds from day one
3) The composition of the mattress doesn't allow for turning although they recommend it.
4) We do rotate them anyway
Mattress Man tell me they are unable to take this forward at this point.
I am not at all happy about this and would like advice on where I go from here is someone can tell me please.

As you are outside 6 months it is up to you to prove the mattress has an inherent fault rather than being damaged through wear and tear or accident / negligence. You need to find an expert to produce a report at your cost but this should be paid by the company if the report is in your favour. The retailer is part of TFO so you could use their resolution service but the report costs from £125. http://www.thefurnitureombudsman.org/expert-inspections/0
