I like Puttanesca sauce and I figured out the connection.

    What is the connection?

The only sauce that I think of when thinking about prossies is not a sauce I would care to discuss in an eatery. :o

My guess is it's something to do with the hairy fish in the sauce
"Mrs. Pench, you've won the car contest, would you like a triumph spitfire or 3000 in cash?" He smiled.
Mrs. Pench took the money. "What will you do with it all? Not that it's any of my business," he giggled.
"I think I'll become an alcoholic," said Betty.

Puttanesca sauce is made with anchovies but IIRC it gets it's name because it was served up in the Red Light district (of Napoli???) to prostitutes - it's quick to prepare and eat so the perfect thing to eat between customers.

I wonder if they kissed their customers, I can't say that kissing (Or inserting something into)a mouth that had just contained Anchovies is going to be a pleasant experience.

Was this thread about landladies and deposits? :o

Well the other story is that a sauce containing anchovies reminded the chef of the ladies he visited after work.

Yeah but this is more interesting. She's just an idiot (and an idiot that's going to be £1-2k worse off in a month or 2).
