Smart Parking LTD - Northern Ireland PCN

Hello,

I received a Smart Parking LTD PCN in the post on the 13/02/17.
Car was parked from 8.17am until 10.35am on th 5/2/17.

The signage is there but driver honestly didn't see it when I question. Signage is in large writing etc.

Had a read through the newbie section and just wanted to make sure I am right in thinking in Northern Ireland we don't appeal or reply to the PCN. Keep the copies but don't reply at all and it will eventually go away.

Thanks for help and time.

That's right, in NI ignore (NO appeal) but if this is a retail store, complain to the Store Manager because they need to hear these complaints and they can cancel the stupid letter chain.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

The fact of the matter is that in N.Ireland, they need to know who the driver is ..... Smart know this so they are just trying to scam the gullible

As you are not gullible, you will NEVER exchange verbals with them especially when they start sending debt collector letters which are as stupid as Paddy McGinty's Goat

Who was the driver ???? now that's your little secret
  • Thanks guys. Appreciate it. The driver was .... lol
  • Nightmare! I'm just reading this and realised I've made a grave mistake! I appealed twice, both rejected. I'm now getting letters every month from solicitors! Help any idea what I should do? I've been ignoring them since the appeals in January?! Thanks in advance

If you appealed as keeper, start ignoring now.

If you gave away the driver's identity, then you should start your own thread. Please don't post on someone else's thread. You have done it twice now.

You must start your own thread and not hijack someone elses like this.

Before you do read up in the newbies thread near the top of the forum about NI!!
