accomodation needed in DUMFRIES

Hi
we(2 adults 1 child 12) need two nights accomodation november07 in dumfries
we are going to a wedding in a castle

postal code area is DG1 3SE OR DGI 4NA

will be driving there from Oldham (i don't like driving but no choice)

any ideas for a cheap/reasonable accomodation?

i think we need to book asap

There is a Travel Lodge on the A75, just before the town of Dumfries. I've stayed there and it was fine.

The only food option was a Little Chef though, so we travelled into town and found a cafe for breakfast.
