I've edited it and double checked its updated minus my details.
I don't particularly want to name myself, but seeing as its my ticket I kinda have to, to get my brother off my back.
Thanks for the guidance0 -
I wish he wouldn't listen last time I told him he just paid0

OK so write an email in his name (or get him to do so) naming you as the driver then, giving your address as well. It is only Euro Car Parks so no biggie. I've ignored their daft debt collector letter chain myself.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Do you know if they take people to court? Thats what I'm worried about0
-
They have 6 years to do so, thus no-one can confidently say this won't happen.
But nothing to stress over!0 -
But what if I get fined by a court? Surely at the minimum my bank balance & credit rating would be affected0
-
No
You will never get a court "fine" over this.
Should you get as far as a county court and lose, then as long as you pay up within a month there is no impact on your credit standing, and your bank balance will be down the amount claimed by the ppc.0 -
No and no. Wrong. No 'fine by the court'.But what if I get fined by a court? Surely at the minimum my bank balance & credit rating would be affected
ECP do not do court anyway but if they did and you lost a defended small claim (which is NOT about 'a fine' and more like a Judge Rinder scenario!), you would just pay what the Judge said, maybe an extra £50 for court fees, above the PCN sum. No CCJ, no effect on your credit rating.
I've ignored ECP myself. It is amusing reading the stupid debt collector letters, then they give up.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
