getting removed from mailing list

Greetings all,

My Mother is being inundated with offers of "stuff" from a "charity" the Bradford exchange its all 2nd world war / army and heartstring tugging & limited edition of course - What is the best way to be removed from their mailing list letter or call or any body for regulating junk mail?
Only Tel is a o333 number

    Don't expect it to be easy. There are bad reports/reviews on the web about this company going back years.

    After my Dad died, I had to resort to writing in big black letters all over the envelopes "Mr M is DEAD! Stop sending him junk mail" and posting them back to the mailers before some companies got the message. :(

    It still took some six months or more to stop sending catalogues.

    Mailing Preference Service. However if she's effectively signed herself up to them, it's going to take a while. And unless your Mum is consistent in sending their stuff back unopened, with 'unsolicited' scrawled across it, you may be fighting a losing battle.

    If nothing else works, you could send them a change of address notification so that they start sending the offers to your address rather than hers. At least your Mum won't see them then.
