Flats not been given VM cabling

Just before Christmas, my road had Virgin cable installed.
Just seen a VM van outside a property. So just went into the postcode check. All the properties are listed but not the 12 flats, mine included. Two of these flats are detached coach house flats (one flat with four garages underneath, one of the garages belongs to the flat). The block of ten flats which I live in is on two floors - four have their own entrances, the other six have communal entrance with one neighbour
Why have VM not bothered to cable the flats? VM should not discriminate me because I live in a flat.
The cable manhole cover is just outside the entrance to my street

Discriminate? Good god.
Have you considered just asking the Virgin guy outside?0 -

What normally happens when VM cable an area is that they then leaflet drop all homes that are passed by the cabling. It is then up to individuals to place their order with VM.
As part of this process, the homeowner must give consent for the cabling from the street to his home.
In the case of rented properties, it would be the landlord who would have to give this consent.0 -
consent probably required to run a cable to upstairs flats
or maybe they will just do them when requested0 -

Have you actually spoken to Virgin about it ?
its possible the system simply doesn't recognize the address of the flats. These automated checkers have their limits
Usually when the cable is laid, it just goes to the street, not to each property. They only lay the cable to the properties when a connection is ordered.
Its also possible that permission was refused for the flats for whatever reason. If they dont get permission, they cant lay the cable0
