What kind of strong glue to use for broken bottle shelf in fridge door

I opened my mams fridge yesterday and the heavy lemonade bottle toppled over which was on the bottle shelf in door, smashing the front panel off it. I've brought it home to hopefully glue it together but I need something tough to withstand it being used. At the minute I've taken the lid off the butter/cheese top shelf in door, and put that shelf in the bottom but not very deep, so just temporary. What kind of strong glue should I buy, thanks.

Use superglue and wide waterproof tape.
Duck Tape, Duct Tape or similar.
That is how I have successfully repaired similar damage.
It looks a bit ugly but who cares, it is only the inside of a fridge.
Alternatively buy a replacement shelf.0 -

Thanks, will do. She is bed bound so won't see it.......unless the carers snitch on me0 -
I tried superglue on mine, did not stick the plastic, so it may just be the ducktape doing the job Not that thats a bad thing.“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?”

I'd use some araldite, it's a bit more flexible than superglue and you can put a slightly thicker amount of it on which can be useful. Duct tape would look awful and also make an area which is hard to clean etc.0

I've found a new type of bonding substance called Lazer Bond which is much better than Superglue. It fixed a broken glass of mine. You know what uranium is, right? It's this thing called nuclear weapons. And other things. Like lots of things are done with uranium. Including some bad things.

I'd second the Araldite - or any other 2-part epoxy resin glue ( there are numerous makes, all easily available at any DIY shed or hardware shop ).
But I always find the problem with this sort of thing, is that you don't actually have much surface area for the glue to stick to, so it's often not very successful. Have a look on Espares.co.uk, you may be able to buy a new shelf for not much money.0 -

I thought of that buts it's a Zanussi side by side opening fridge freezer (under counter) she's had for years. Has 'Design Collection' written in yellow and black across front of shelf.0 -
Another vote for Araldite. That's what my OH used to fix ours when it got broken.Norn Iron Club Member 3300

I used a hot glue gun on mine. Seems to hold well0
