Parking Ticket

Hi,
I've recently received a parking ticket. It expired at 14:52 I left the restaurant at 14:52 and ran to my car when I saw the Parking Enforcement Officers typing out penalty notice. I tendered my reasons for the late return (waiting over 20 min for the bill) and ask her not to complete the ticket. She was unmoved by my explanation and I would go so far as to say that she was rude in her reply. I again asked her not to complete the ticket. We had been there together for more than 5 minutes when she said that she was unable to rescind the ticket because more than 10 minutes had passed but that hadn't been the case when we first engaged each other. So then I have appeal but of course it has been rejected. Mind when I was leaving the car park I saw that the she had parked in and on an area clearly marked as KEEP CLEAR with what to be legally binding markings therefore this slaps of totally hypocrisy (of Course I took the picture of her car and included that in my appeal but they just ignore that). I find that so annoying- how can they give me a ticket when they clearly breaking rules themselves. What do you think I should do next? Thanks for any advice.

Well, you could start by telling us if it was a private or council parking ticket.
If private, which parking company.0 -
Hi. Sorry forgot to mention that- NPS Northern Parking Service and they are private. Thanks0

They were not a 'Parking Officer', nor was this a 'penalty notice' not from a private company. Not sure what queries you have, seeing as we assume you must have firstly read the sticky thread on page one before hitting 'new thread', the one that says:
'NEWBIES PLEASE READ THESE FAQS FIRST' and has the template appeals in it. No link, it's on page one where you clicked 'new thread'.

BPA member so follow the advice in the NEWBIES thread and use the template. At POPLA stage the templates for that are in post #3 of the same sticky thread. We can't deal with all cases one by one, they are all pretty much the same and are mostly easily winnable.
Show us your POPLA appeal for checking in due course to make sure you miss nothing out but please, don't copy the BPA members appeal from the NEWBIES thread and post it here asking 'is it this one?' Yes, it's the BPA members one, there is only one, in blue writing. Do not add anything, do not say who was driving; do not write about the story of what happened.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

You need to edit your OP to remove all references to who parked the car.

Hi,
Thanks for your reply but I am so new to this and a bit confused.
I have read NEWBIES post but still not sure what to do really. I have already appeal to private company regarding that parking charge notice and got rejected. The only option for me is using POPLA now is that correct? Do you think I could use the picture of her parking on KEEP CLEAR as my evidence? Thanks0 -
POPLA stage is covered in post #3 of the NEWBIES thread, with templates.
If you mean the parking 'employee', no. Where she parked is irrelevant.Do you think I could use the picture of her parking on KEEP CLEAR as my evidence?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
